Partner and Chief Financial Officer
Kevin Gaffey is responsible for finance, accounting and fund administration for Verdis. Kevin leads underlying fund manager operational due diligence and reviews all firm and fund documentation. Kevin has over 25 years of experience in financial operations and managing investments in private investment entities (limited partnerships and fund-of-funds). He is a member of Verdis’ Investment Committee and Verdis’ Residential Real Estate Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Verdis, Kevin served as Controller (2000-2006) of Princeton University Investment Company (PRINCO) which oversees Princeton’s endowment (total assets were $11+billion). Prior to PRINCO, he served as Controller for Nassau Capital, LLC (1995-2000) which acted as the exclusive manager of Princeton University Endowment’s private equity, real assets and direct investment programs. Earlier in his career, Kevin served as Assistant Controller at the Blackstone Group (1992-1995) and as a Senior Accountant with Green & Company, LLP (1989-1992).
Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Wilkes University (1989). He successfully completed the Uniform CPA examination.
